A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an infection that occurs in the bladder, kidneys, ureters, and/or urethra (one's urinary tract). It's a serious health problem affecting millions of men and women. Infections are caused by bacteria - usually e-coli - and once bacteria are introduced into the urinary tract, a UTI is usually only a couple of days away, and they can take place in either one or all areas of the urinary tract.

Although women are more likely to get UTIs than men, men still account for about 20% of all reported UTIs. If you are experiencing any symptoms, be sure to "Call your Doctor"immediately. If left untreated, Urinary Tract Infections can lead to further damage and/or spreading of the infection that can lead to even more serious conditions.
